Perfect Pedestals

Friday 27th September 2019

10am - 3pm

Level: Beginners/New Skills

Ideal for a wedding or church a large pedestal design will transform a space instantly.  This lovely one day workshop looks at the most cost effective ways to use flowers and foliage including those that are readily available from your garden, local markets and supermarkets.   Each student will create a large scale pedestal arrangement using seasonal flowers and foliage that can be taken home!   You will learn how to select impact flowers to use, the types of pedestals available, the importance of colour, shape and texture and how to work to a budget!

"Well structured and delivered.  Also plenty of individual attention and tips to improve.  Also working with beautiful flowers.  Have recommended to others who want to do floristry".
Gill Amos | Perfect Pedestals | January 2019

"Another wonderful session with super clear instructions. Really helpful to develop skills to move forward with my floristry career. Thank you for all the guidance and reassurance throughout the session."
Rachel Whittaker | Perfect Pedestals | July 2018

The workshop includes all the flowers, foliage and containers that you need to complete the item(s).

You will also be provided with tools to use during the day.   If you wish to purchase tools, we have these available and can be purchased on the day.

We suggest you bring your camera to take photos as a reminder of what you have learnt during the day.

We would recommend wearing  comfortable shoes and clothing that you don't mind getting wet or dirty (as flowers involve a bit of both!)

A light lunch and all refreshments are provided on this workshop.
