COVID-19 Prevention Policy
At The Cambridge Flower School we have had to postpone and cancel several courses and workshops over the past 3 months – and we thank everyone who has been so understanding, especially those who have transferred to courses later in the year.
We are back in action from July, but with a phased reopening. There are some changes to ensure your safety and our staff's safety. We take advice from the government guidelines and the Federation of Small Businesses and will complete a further risk assessment once social distancing has been relaxed completely.
The changes we have put in place listed below are subject to change dependant on the government guidelines.
Updates for your safety and staff safety
- To maintain a 1-metre distance between each student we are reducing class sizes from 12 to 8 (in some cases 6 students).
- Every student will be required to wear a face mask and disposable gloves when social distancing cannot be maintained. We will provide these for each session.
- Each student will need to provide their own lunch and hot drinks (flask). Unfortunately, while social distancing must be observed we will be unable to provide catering. We will provide individual bottles of water for each student.
- Each student will need to provide an emergency contact name and telephone number.
If you are in a high-risk category, we recommend that you book a course later in the year.
If you are pregnant or over 70, we recommend you book a course later in the year.
Please be aware that these guidelines are subject to change depending on the government guidelines.
