COVID-19 Prevention Policy
At The Cambridge Flower School we have had to postpone and cancel several courses and workshops over the past 3 months – and we thank everyone who has been so understanding, especially those who have transferred to courses later in the year.
We are hoping to reopen from July 2020 but with some changes to ensure your safety and our staff's safety. These, we hope are temporary measures to see us through the summer but will take advice from the government guidelines and the Federation of Small Businesses and will complete a further risk assessment once social distancing has been relaxed.
The changes we have put in place listed below are subject to change and could be extended into September and beyond if still required.
July and August 2020
- To maintain a 2-metre distance between each student we are reducing class sizes.
- Every student will be required to wear a face mask and disposable gloves when social distancing cannot be maintained. We will provide these for each session.
- Each student will need to provide their own lunch. Unfortunately, while social distancing must be observed we will be unable to provide catering. We will provide individual bottles of water for each student and tea and coffee facilities.
- Each student will need to provide an emergency contact name and telephone number.
If you are in a high-risk category, we recommend that you transfer to a course later in the year.
If you are pregnant or over 70, we recommend you transfer to a course later in the year.
If you are nervous about attending a course, then please contact us.
Please be aware that these guidelines are subject to change depending on the government guidelines.
