A Vase of Flowers
Saturday 28th September 2019
10am - 1pm
Sounds so simple - a vase of flowers! For anyone who has bought flowers and then tried to arrange them into an impressive vase design will know that it is not always that easy. Which vase, how tall, how do I get them to stay where I put them; all questions that we regularly hear from the most ardent flower lover!
This Saturday morning workshop will literally untangle your flower questions, look at the best ways to display your flowers and explain some simple rules about which flowers to buy at the supermarket or local market. We look at working with colour and choosing a vase that will always give you a fantastic display.
You will create a natural flowing vase (foam free) arrangement using seasonal flowers. We will load you up with tips on how to look after them and ensure they last as long as possible. Of course, you get to take your flowers home, vase and all!
This is a perfect gift for anyone that loves flowers!
"I loved it! Lots of practical tips - as a complete novice, invaluable! The final outcome was far beyond anything that I could have achieved on my own. But, so easy and manageable. I will definitely feel braver at home. Calm and helpful teaching style. Highly recommend."

The workshop includes all the flowers, foliage and vase that you need to complete the item(s). And of course, you get to take it all home with you!
You will also be provided with tools to use during the session. If you wish to purchase tools and sundries, we have these available and can be purchased during the session (please bring cash for any additional purchases).
We suggest you bring your camera to take photos as a reminder of what you have learnt during the day.
Refreshments including home made cake are provided.
We would recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing that you don't mind getting wet or dirty (as flowers involve a bit of both!)
