Beginners Floristry Day (Norfolk)

Saturday 27th January 2024

10am - 3.30pm

Level: Beginners

Would you love to learn about floristry, more about flowers or simply want to have a creative day working with flowers?  This one day class is perfect!

We start off in the morning with a fabulously huge handtied bouquet.  Packed full of big blooms and foliage you will learn the art of spiralling stems.  Complete with sustainable packaging and a big satin bow!

In the afternoon you will create a table centre design using biodegradable materials in an elegant ceramic container.  Using early spring flowers this design will look perfect anywhere in your home.

All the flowers and materials (including containers) are yours to keep and enjoy.

Our "snug" is the perfect place to relax with a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate and delicious locally made cake.  Get to know your fellow students and make new friends.

Once you have booked your place we will email you details of how to find our studio.  We have plenty of free parking.

The workshop includes all the flowers, foliage, wrapping and ribbons  that you need to complete the item(s).

You will also be provided with tools and Flortoria apron to use during the day.

We suggest you bring your camera to take photos as a reminder of what you have learnt during the session.

We would recommend wearing  comfortable shoes and clothing that you don't mind getting wet or dirty (as flowers involve a bit of both!)

A maximum of 8 students.

"Really thoroughly enjoyed it. Made to feel really comfortable as a beginner to floristry. Really well taught and demonstrated. Loved the 3 aspects to it as well I've come away knowing a lot more than I did this morning - would love to come back for another course someday soon. Thank you!."
— Sarah Parry | Floristry Taster Day
Excellent instruction, has created so many ideas as well as challenges, certainly has made me question the way I was thinking of doing things, and excited to get things started now. Sarah was fun and entertaining in presentation and extremely informative, thanks!
