Bouquet & Buttonhole (Norfolk)

Saturday 27th January 2024

10am - 3pm

Level: Beginners

Are you getting married in 2024 and would like to create your own bridal bouquet?  Or perhaps you are a mum and have been tasked with creating the most important flowers of the day?  This one day course is aimed at complete beginners (or those that have dabbled with a stem or two!).

You will learn how to create a handtied bouquet using seasonal flowers and foliage in a loose, natural style complete with gorgeous satin ribbons.

In the afternoon you will create buttonhole designs suitable for the groom and groomsmen - wonderful little works of art!

All the flowers and materials are yours to keep and enjoy.

Our "snug" is the perfect place to relax with a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate and delicious locally made cake.  Get to know your fellow students and make new friends.

Once you have booked your place we will email you details of how to find our studio.  We have plenty of free parking.

The workshop includes all the flowers, foliage, wrapping and ribbons  that you need to complete the item(s).

You will also be provided with tools and Flortoria apron to use during the day.

We suggest you bring your camera to take photos as a reminder of what you have learnt during the session.

We would recommend wearing  comfortable shoes and clothing that you don't mind getting wet or dirty (as flowers involve a bit of both!)

A maximum of 8 students.

"Really thoroughly enjoyed it. Made to feel really comfortable as a beginner to floristry. Really well taught and demonstrated. Loved the 3 aspects to it as well I've come away knowing a lot more than I did this morning - would love to come back for another course someday soon. Thank you!."
— Sarah Parry | Floristry Taster Day
Excellent instruction, has created so many ideas as well as challenges, certainly has made me question the way I was thinking of doing things, and excited to get things started now. Sarah was fun and entertaining in presentation and extremely informative, thanks!
