Level: Beginners/New Skills
Big swags of garlanding - perfect for the mantelpiece or draped down your staircase. Using mixed winter foliage you will create a 1.5 metre length of foliage garlanding. We will show you how to add flowers so you can add that extra touch when you get home and nearer Christmas. We will have all the basic sundries for sale during the session, so if you want to make more when you get home, you are ready!
You will be foraging for foliage in the grounds of Newton Hall so please do come prepared as this is December! Great fun and thoroughly invigorating!
There is limited space on this course - so book soon.
The workshop includes all the flowers, foliage, ribbons and containers that you need to complete the item(s).
You will also be provided with tools to use during the session. If you wish to purchase tools, we have these available and can be purchased on the day.
Refreshments, mulled wine and Christmas nibbles are provided.
We suggest you bring your camera to take photos as a reminder of what you have learnt during the day.
We would recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing that you don't mind getting wet or dirty (as flowers involve a bit of both!)
This course is held at The Cambridge Flower School, Newton Hall, Newton, Cambridge CB22 7ZE.
The full fee is £80.00
