Thursday 12th December 2019
6.30pm - 9.00pm
Fantastic hatbox full of flowers and Christmas cheer - a real treat for yourself or a gift to take to your family and friends. Come and learn how to create this perfect gift on this evening workshop.
On this workshop we show you how to decorate the box and personalise with satin ribbon and then fill to perfection with roses, aromatic cinnamon, pine cones as many other festive decorations as you want! You will also learn how to "tilt the lid" so the flowers peep out!
This makes a fabulous luxurious gift for anyone who you really have no idea what to buy them and additionally is so easy to replicate at home!
The workshop includes all the flowers, foliage, ribbons and containers that you need to complete the item(s).
As this is Christmas season we will have homemade mince pies (made by our lovely Caroline, head cook) and warming mulled wine to get you in the mood!
You will also be provided with tools to use during the session. If you wish to purchase tools, we have these available and can be purchased during the evening.
We will have hatboxes on sale during the session so if you want to make more you can prepare! If you want a few, please let us know a few days in advance.
We suggest you bring your camera to take photos as a reminder of what you have learnt during the workshop.
We would recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing that you don't mind getting wet or dirty (as flowers involve a bit of both!)
The workshop is held at The Cambridge Flower School, Newton Hall, Town Street, Newton, Cambridge CB22 7ZE
The fee is £85.00.
You can book your course online or call us on 01223 655661.
Once you have booked your place(s) we will email you further details of the workshop including a location map with how to find the venue.
