Saturday 21st December 2019
Morning: 10am - 12.30pm
Afternoon: 2pm - 4.30pm
Get completely into the festive mood and create a stunning centrepiece for your Christmas dining table. Combining glittering large head flowers, aromatic cinnamon bundles and winter foliage you will create a low table arrangement centred around a hurricane vase and church candle. A true Christmas tradition. If you wish you could add taper candles at home for alternative look!
As this course is just before Christmas itself the arrangement you create will last right through the Christmas season. Learn how to ensure your arrangement keeps perfect throughout this festive time.
The workshop includes all the flowers, foliage, wrapping, ribbons and containers that you need to complete the item(s).
You will also be provided with tools to use during the session. If you wish to purchase tools, we have these available and can be purchased on the day.
As this is Christmas season we will have homemade mince pies (made by our lovely Caroline, head cook) and warming mulled wine to get you in the mood!
We suggest you bring your camera to take photos as a reminder of what you have learnt during the day.
We would recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing that you don't mind getting wet or dirty (as flowers involve a bit of both!)
This course is held at The Cambridge Flower School, Newton Hall, Newton, Cambridge CB22 7ZE.
The fee is £85.00.
