Floristry Career Course June 2019

Monday 17th - Friday 21st June 2019

Level: Beginners/New Career Path

Our week long Floristry Career Course is designed as a foundation for those looking to build a new career in commercial floristry.  It will give the skills to start your own floristry business from a home workshop or retail premises.

You will gain both practical experience of floral design and what you need to know to setup your own floristry business.  From buying flowers, costing (because you need to make a profit), to marketing your new business.  You will leave the course full of ideas and inspiration to get started!

Each day you will learn a different aspect of floristry including gift floristry, funeral and an introduction to wedding floristry.

This course is suitable for complete beginners and no previous experience of floristry or flower arranging is required.

You will create each design step by step following the tutor.  There is time to ask questions, practice your new skills and take invaluable notes of your own.

"Absolutely loved this course - went too fast!  Learnt so much.  The course has really given me some great ideas of how to start my floristry career (a dream I have had since I was 15 years old.)  I would also say that Sarah and Claire provided ways to stay realistic whilst following your dream."
