May 18th - 22nd 2020 (5 days) | May 23rd 2020 (optional 6th day)

5 day course - £975.00 | 6 day course - £1175.00

If you are considering becoming a wedding florist or already have some floristry knowledge then this is the course for you!  It not only covers many popular designs, but we look at quotations, working out costings and how to get your wedding floristry business started with marketing and social media.

The course covers both theory and practical subjects.  On completion of the course you will have the confidence and skills to offer your services as a wedding florist.  We do recommend that you practice all the practical elements covered on the course on completion.

We also offer a separate course for Wedding and Event Design which covers large scale designs suitable for marquees, country houses and venues with large impressive rooms.

The course includes all the flowers, foliage, ribbons and containers that you need to complete the item(s).

You will also be provided with the following items that you can keep once the course has finished:

  • Course manual (invaluable reference for all the theory elements of the course)
  • Notebook and pen
  • Wedding floristry starter kit
  • Wedding floristry apron
  • Course completion certificate
  • References if required
  • Invitation to our student floristry group

Optional Day 6 - Shower Bouquet

As wedding designs change each year we offer an optional day to learn in more depth the current trends.  Day 6 will concentrate on creating a shower bouquet with cascading foliage and flowers and a natural wild style with clever choice of materials.  Day 6 is open to other students who have attended other wedding courses with us so we do recommend booking Day 6 when you book the full week to avoid disappointment.

We suggest you bring your camera to take photos as a reminder of what you have learnt during the course.

We would recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing that you don't mind getting wet or dirty (as flowers involve a bit of both!)

Lunch and all refreshments are provided everyday throughout the course.

"I have found the course so informative.  It has really helped build on the skills learnt on the Floristry Career Course.  Claire and Sarah are great teachers - they make learning fun, help you get the most out of the course and share all of their priceless advice and experiences.  Thank you very much - I'll be back soon!"
