Wedding Career Course October 2019

21st - 25th October 2019 -  (5 days) | 26th October 2019 (optional 6th day)

5 day course - £975.00 | 6 day course - £1175.00

If you are considering becoming a wedding florist, then this is the course for you!  It not only covers many popular designs, but we look at quotations, working out costings and how to get your wedding floristry business started with marketing and social media.

The course covers both theory and practical subjects.  On completion of the course you will have the confidence and skills to offer your services as a wedding florist.  We do recommend that you practice all the practical elements covered on the course on completion.

We also offer a separate course for Wedding and Event Design which covers large scale designs suitable for marquees, country houses and venues with large impressive rooms.

Combining Floristry Career Course with Wedding Career Course

This course follows on from our Floristry Career Course (14th - 18th October 2019).  Students can choose to attend both courses one week after the other or at separate dates throughout the year.  Each course covers completely different topics.

This course is held at The Cambridge Flower School, Newton Hall, Newton, Cambridge CB22 7ZE.

Claire and Sarah are so lovely and are willing to help and answer any questions.  There was a lot of techniques and skills taught through doing different practical elements with plenty of flower choice.  The theory was extremely informative and useful.  They gave me the confidence that I needed.  Thank you all!

Optional Day 6 - Shower Bouquet

As wedding designs change each year we offer an optional day to learn in more depth the current trends.  During 2019, Day 6 will concentrate on creating a shower bouquet with cascading foliage and flowers and a natural wild style with clever choice of materials.  Day 6 is open to other students who have attended other wedding courses with us so we do recommend booking Day 6 when you book the full week to avoid disappointment.

We suggest you bring your camera to take photos as a reminder of what you have learnt during the course.

We would recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing that you don't mind getting wet or dirty (as flowers involve a bit of both!)

Lunch and all refreshments are provided everyday throughout the course.

You can book online or call the school on 01223 655661.

5 Day Course is £975.00 (£300.00 deposit)

6 Day Course is £1175.00 (£350.00 deposit)

If paying a deposit the outstanding balance is due 14 days prior to the start of course.

Once you have booked your place(s) we will email you further details of the course including a location map with how to find the school.
