Wedding Career Course October 2022

£300.00

24th - 28th October 2022 (5 days)

£1075.00 | Deposit £300.00

Level: Beginners/New Career Path

If you are considering becoming a wedding florist or already have some floristry knowledge then this is the course for you!  It not only covers many of the designs for the bridal party and tables, but we look at quotations, working out costings and quantities needed, as well as how to get your wedding floristry business started with marketing and social media.  We work on a single wedding during the course (exactly as you would do in real life), ordering flowers, conditioning and ultimately design and delivery.  We use sustainable materials for many of the designs.

The course covers both theory and practical subjects.  On completion of the course you will have the confidence and skills to offer your services as a wedding florist.

The Wedding Career Course covers completely different topics to our Floristry Career Course.

We also offer a separate course for Wedding and Event Design which covers large scale designs suitable for marquees, country houses and venues requiring bespoke decoration.

The course includes all the flowers, foliage, ribbons and containers that you need to complete the item(s).

You will also be provided with the following items that you can keep once the course has finished:

  • Course manual (invaluable reference for all the theory elements of the course)
  • Notebook and pen
  • Wedding floristry starter kit
  • Wedding floristry apron
  • Course completion certificate
  • References if required
  • Invitation to our exclusive student floristry group

We suggest you bring your camera to take photos as a reminder of what you have learnt during the course.

We would recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing that you don't mind getting wet or dirty (as flowers involve a bit of both!)

You will need to bring a packed lunch with you each day.

You can take home all the designs you create during the week.

"Superb week in every way.  The quality of the teaching was, as always, first class.  I have learnt so much - really expanded my skills.  The flower choice was stunning.  Perfect every way - could just do more and more! "
Sally Nott | Wedding Career Course | August 2020

"I have really enjoyed the course this week.  Very informative and learnt so much!  It's great if you are looking to start up your own business with the mix of theory and practical.  Cannot wait to come back and do another course."
