Wedding Costings

£175.00

Description

Monday 13th May 2024
10am - 3pm

Are you new to floristry or training to be a florist and need to understand the complexities of weddings, costings and buying?  There is so much to take into account - the cost of seasonal flowers, your time, travel, cost of additional help and so much more!  Working out a quotation takes research and time.

This course is a invaluable tool to get the most out of a budget, flowers and time planning.  Using project management techniques you will learn how to ask the right questions, be prepared at the initial consultation and then work out the costings for the flowers, foliage and sundries.    We work through a complete wedding project from start to finish looking at planning, flower quantities, pricing at retail, quotations, payments and delivery costs (plus hidden costs!).

On completion of the course we provide you with all the tools (including a spreadsheet to help you work out all the quantities and costings) so you are fully prepared for weddings in the future.

We recommend bringing a laptop computer to practice using the spreadsheet (not a mobile device as the spreadsheet is so large).

If you would like to discuss this course with us please call Sarah on 01223 655661.

This course is held at The Cambridge Flower School, Newton Hall, Newton, Cambridge CB22 7ZE.

"This day course was invaluable in picking up hints and tips along with very useful tools such as master spreadsheet to work out quantity and pricing.  This is a must do course for those specialising in wedding floristry as a business. " Helen Pettit | Alice May Flowers
