Wedding Floristry Courses
We have designed a range of intensive practical courses to maximise the amount you learn. The Beginners Wedding Floristry course is suitable for those who have little to no experience of working with flowers. We recommend The Wedding Course and Wedding Decorator for those who have already basic floristry knowledge and looking to accelerate their skills. WHY WEDDINGS?
Wedding floristry is a huge industry, and because of this it can be done as a standalone specialism.
We've found that the project style nature of wedding floristry works well for students looking to balance their workload, or even do floristry part time. We also find that people who enjoy project and client management flourish as wedding florists.
You can also work on weddings as a freelancer working with other florists on large installations, or do the occasional wedding as part of your broader portfolio. Our courses cater for these different specialisms so that however you want to take on wedding floristry, you leave ready to get started!

Based on a dairy farm in Northern Ireland, Lois and her mum Tracey first arrived at the school in July 2022 for the Floristry Career Course. One of of our youngest students, Lois set up her business Rose and Thorns converting a shipping container into a fabulous studio specialising in wedding flowers. She returned to the school to complete wedding courses in both 2023 and 2024. We are so proud of Lois who in 2024 won the Best Wedding Florist in Northern Ireland.
