Workshops and Courses: half, one day, and evening 

Bookings

To secure a place on a half or one day workshop or course the full fee must be made at the time of booking.

Cancellations and Transfers

If you cancel a booking on any half, one day, or evening workshop if the start date is more than 14 days away, we will refund the fee paid less a 5% administration fee.

If you wish to transfer and the start date is more than 14 days away there is no additional charge.

The date you wish to transfer to must be confirmed via email within 7 days of the date the transfer was requested. If a transfer date is not confirmed within this period, you may forfeit any fees paid.

We allow one transfer per booking. We reserve the right to retain all monies paid if after one transfer you are unable to attend.

If you cancel within 14 days of the start date, we are unable to offer a refund or transfer as materials will have been ordered.

Workshops and Courses: two or more days in duration

This applies to the following: Floristry Career Course and The Wedding Decorator.

Bookings

To secure a place, a deposit or the full fee must be paid at the time of booking. The full balance for the course must be paid 30 days prior to the start of the course. If the balance is not paid, we reserve the right to advertise the place(s) and you will forfeit your deposit.

Cancellations and Transfers

If you cancel your place(s) (on a course 2 or more days in duration) more than 30 days prior to the start of the course, we will refund your course fee less a 5% administration fee.

If you wish to transfer your place (on a course 2 or more days in duration) more than 30 days prior to the start of the course, there is no additional fees payable. However you will be required to pay any outstanding balance in order to facilitate the transfer. 

We allow one transfer per booking to a scheduled course. We reserve the right to retain all monies paid if after one transfer you are unable to attend.

Within 30 days of the course start date

If you cancel within 30 days of the start date, we are unable to offer a refund or transfer.

Credit Balances (all courses and workshops)

If a credit balance has been agreed (funds to be transferred), the credit balance must be used on another course or workshop within 6 months of the request to transfer.

Minimum Student Numbers

All practical floristry courses and workshops have a minimum student requirement of 4 students.  If there are 3 or less students we reserve the right to cancel the course or workshop.  In this case we will offer you a full refund or transfer you to another course.  If payment has been made by Gift Voucher an extension will be offered to the date on the gift voucher.

Bespoke Training

If you cancel a bespoke training session 30 days prior to the start date, we will refund your fee (less a 10% administration fee to cover the preparation undertaken to develop your bespoke session).

Cancel the date(s) within 30 days of the start of the course and we will unfortunately be unable to offer a refund or transfer.

Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers are non-refundable.  If you cannot attend a workshop or course that you have booked using a Gift Voucher, we will offer a transfer to another workshop or course at a later date.  Only one transfer is allowed.  Confirmation of the date to transfer to must be confirmed within 7 days of the request to transfer.

Additional Information

Payment policy

Payment can be made online using Credit or Debit Card at the time of booking through the website.  For balance payments we accept credit or debit card or bank transfer.

Cancellations by us

We reserve the right to amend or cancel courses/workshops.

If the course or workshop does not have the minimum attendance levels, we reserve the right to cancel the course/workshop.

If we cancel the course/workshop we will endeavour to give you at least one week's notice and you will have the option to transfer to an alternative course/workshop or have a full refund of the fees.

We reserve the right to refuse to process an order for any reason or refuse service to anyone at our sole discretion.

Postponement by us

If a class is postponed for reasons such as staff illness or situations out of our control (such as government guidelines) we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the class and let you know as soon as possible.

Materials and Equipment

The course/workshop fee includes the cost of materials and flowers where applicable.

Unless stated otherwise for the specific course/workshop the facilities are only available for use during the course/workshop hours.

Refreshments will be provided as specified on the workshop/course information email you receive.

Age

There is a minimum age of 16 for attendance on all courses of 1 day or more in duration and a minimum age of 12 for all workshops (half day and evening sessions).  Any children aged 12-16 must have a place booked on a workshop and accompanied by an adult who also must book a place on the same workshop  Any children aged 12-16 are the responsibility of the accompanying adult.   Should the adult be unable to attend please be aware that the child will not be able to attend on their own.

Course Location

You will be advised of the course/workshop location in your booking confirmation.  Please be advised that the course locations may occasionally change due to operational reasons.

Tools and Starter Kits

We will inspect everything carefully before it leaves us to make sure it's of high quality. We also do our utmost to package and protect everything so that it doesn't get damaged on its way. However, if you do have a problem, here is what to do:

Incorrect Goods

If we sent you something you hadn't ordered and which was not a substitute item (see below), please contact us within 14 days informing us of the problem. You can return it within 28 working days unused in its original packaging and you will not be charged.

Damaged In Transit

If your purchase is damaged in transit, please contact us within 14 days informing us of the problem. You can return it within 28 days and either get a replacement or a refund. Please make sure you give us your order number and return the item in its original packaging.

Damaged or Defective Goods

If you receive a product that is defective, please contact us within 14 days informing us of the problem. You can return it within 28 days and either get a replacement or a refund.

VAT

VAT is included in all the courses, workshops and products.
