As a florist you need to be able to adapt to loads of different tasks that most people would never associate with such a "gentle" profession.  Up ladders attaching garlanding, cutting down branches, collecting old bark, delivering emergency flowers in the evening when someone has forgotten and as seen here mixing concrete are not unusual.  

The lovely thing about floristry is that everyday is completely different, builds muscles you never knew you had and best of all you get to make a living doing something you absolutely love... 

And the concrete?  We use it for setting heavy bases on topiary designs!
