Do you love Hydrangeas?  Huge blooms that make a statement and just ooze summer!  Well, how about trying Rhododendron as a cut flower?  Just recently we have been experimenting at the school with these lush flowers and they are brilliant!

As they are shrub grown and have a woody stem they retain their water (unlike Hydrangea who drink bucket loads and if not carefully looked after will quickly wilt - dunk they heads in a bucket for a few hours by the way if they don't look too sad).

A week on and our Rhododendron still look fabulous in the vase.

They come in an abundance of colours and many wholesalers are now stocking them - really worth a look at!  Perfect for big display work where you need some impact!
