St Patricks Day is celebrated every year on 17th March.  Popular throughout not only Ireland, but wherever in the world there is a large Irish immigrant population.

The three-leaf clover (shamrock) has been considered the national flower of Ireland for centuries.   Rather hard to find, so we have to be creative with our celebrations of all things green!

It is the perfect opportunity to celebrate eco-floristry using the Go Green angle, showing designs that  are predominantly using green flowers and foliage.

Why not post an eco friendly design, talk about foraging or do a table scape using green as your main colour?  There are lots of opportunities to make it a green day!

Here are some ideas for green flowers; Prado Carnations (Dianthus), Alissa Green Lissianthus (Eustoma), Hypericum Coco Bamboo, Rose Green Glow, Anthurium Grand Slam, Chrysanthemum Antenna, Dianthus Kiwi Mellow, Helebore Magnificent Bells, Hydrangea Emerald Green, Viburnum Roseum.
