Galentines Day
Description
Friday 13th February 2026
10am - 12.30pm
Level: Beginners/New Skills
Galentine's Day is the celebration of female friendships and is for all women. If you are not into Valentines Day, or perhaps are single, or even have a partner who never remembers, then this one is for all you ladies!
Flower School is always a great place to make new friends and have a few hours of fun and relaxation.
Bring a friend or come on your own and spend creative time together in the company of gorgeous spring flowers (as let's face it, most of us prefer them to red roses anyway!).
You will be creating your very own spring garden of tulips, narcissi, ranunculus and mimosa - perfect to take home and proudly display on your table! Led by our expert tutors step-by-step and right by your side to help.
DETAILS
No previous floristry or flower arranging experience is required.
The workshop includes all the flowers, foliage and materials that you need to complete the item(s).
You will also be provided with tools to use during the session. If you wish to purchase tools and sundries, we have these available and can be purchased during the session from our school shop (we accept card and cash payments on the day for all sundry items).
We suggest you bring your camera to take photos as a reminder of what you have learnt during the session.
Refreshments are provided including a celebratory glass of bubbly or two!
We would recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing that you don't mind getting wet or dirty (as flowers involve a bit of both!)
This workshop is held at The Cambridge Flower School, The Old Grain Store, Ely Road, Chittering, Cambridge CB25 9PH.
BOOKING
The fee is £110.00 including flowers, materials and tuition. You can book this workshop on online or call us on 01223 655661.
Once you have booked your place(s) we will email you further details of the workshop including a location map with how to find the venue.
"I absolutely loved it. It was the perfect amount of hands-on education and learning. I would recommend to anyone interested and absolutely will be back!"
"Really thoroughly enjoyed it. Made to feel really comfortable as a beginner to floristry. Really well taught and demonstrated. Loved the 3 aspects to it as well I've come away knowing a lot more than I did this morning - would love to come back for another course someday soon. Thank you!."
Loved this workshop. Really friendly and therapeutic to come to this class. I am a complete beginner but felt that didn't matter at all.
Absolutely loved it. Didn't want it to end. Hungry to learn more and loved the friendly atmosphere. Excellent tutoring, very patient and happy to explain a second time. I'll be back!
