Midsummer Wreath

£110.00

Description

Saturday 20th June 2026

10am - 12:30pm

Midsummer's Eve is the time when fairies come out to play! Our Midsummer wreath workshop is the perfect relaxing, creative way to celebrate long summer evenings.

This workshop is for complete beginners, so previous experience of floristry or working with flowers is not required.

You will create a reusable moss base and then learn how to decorate with a mixture of fresh flowers that will dry in the warmth and sun and a selection that we have already dried for you.  We will decorate with trailing ribbons and optional fairy dust!

You can then take home and hang on your door or use a table centre for summer parties in the garden.  Looks fantastic with candles!

A design that will last all summer long...

During the morning we will break for scones, cream and strawberries and an optional glass of bubbly!

DETAILS

The workshop includes all the flowers, foliage and ribbons that you need to complete the item(s).

You will also be provided with tools to use during the workshop.   If you wish to purchase tools, we have these available and can be purchased during the session.

We suggest you bring your camera to take photos as a reminder of what you have learnt during the day.

All refreshments are included.

We would recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing that you don't mind getting wet or dirty (as flowers involve a bit of both!)

The fee is £110.00.

You can book your workshop online or call us on 01223 655661.

Once you have booked your place(s) we will email you further details of the workshop including a location map with how to find the venue.

This workshop is held at The Cambridge Flower School, The Old Grain Store, Ely Road, Chittering, Cambridge CB25 9PH

"Really thoroughly enjoyed it. Made to feel really comfortable as a beginner to floristry. Really well taught and demonstrated. Loved the 3 aspects to it as well I've come away knowing a lot more than I did this morning - would love to come back for another course someday soon. Thank you!."

Loved this workshop. Really friendly and therapeutic to come to this class. I am a complete beginner but felt that didn't matter at all.
