Summer Saturday

£245.00

Saturday 18th July 2026

10am - 4pm

Summer Saturday celebrates all that we grow in our own gardens and designs to enjoy in your own home.  Join us for this wonderful one day workshop with designs that you can recreate, not only in the summer but all year long!

We start with a summer inspired long table design "pot-et-fleur" style.  Using both plants and flowers the mechanics you will learn are skills you can adapt through all seasons.  The container you can reuse over the summer and longer with cuttings from your own garden or local markets.  This design can be repurposed, different plants and flowers added, making it a truly reusable design.

In the afternoon we design flowers to wear.  Elaborate hair corsages (perfect for parties and weddings to make a statement).  We will glue, wire, use spray paints, feathers and design elements to create showstoppers worthy of any catwalk.

This workshop is perfect for some you time, away from the stresses of everyday.  Come and unwind, get creative and have a wonderful day with us at school!

Everything you create is yours to take home including the containers and flowers.

DETAILS

The workshop includes all the flowers, foliage and containers that you need to complete the item(s).

You will also be provided with tools to use during the session.   If you wish to purchase tools, we have these available and can be purchased on the day.

We suggest you bring your camera to take photos as a reminder of what you have learnt during the day.

We would recommend wearing  comfortable shoes and clothing that you don't mind getting wet or dirty (as flowers involve a bit of both!)

You will need to bring a packed lunch with you.  Beverages are provided.

"Really thoroughly enjoyed it. Made to feel really comfortable as a beginner to floristry. Really well taught and demonstrated. Loved the 3 aspects to it as well I've come away knowing a lot more than I did this morning - would love to come back for another course someday soon. Thank you!."

Loved this workshop. Really friendly and therapeutic to come to this class. I am a complete beginner but felt that didn't matter at all.
