Beginners Wedding Floristry
Description
Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th June 2026
10am - 4pm
Two Day Course | Beginners
Full Fee: £525.00 | Deposit £250.00
Over two days you will learn the fundamental skills to prepare the flowers for a wedding. There are so many options for wedding flowers and it can be hard to know where to start if you are new to the industry. This course coincides with the abundance of British Flowers available.
From the moment you agree to undertake wedding flowers you are planning ahead. You will learn when to order, how to work out what to order and then how to prepare the flowers prior to creating the designs. We take you through the whole process - working with a real flower delivery (including British grown flowers) on day one.
We concentrate on the most important designs; the bridal bouquet, bridesmaid designs and the table flowers - looking at current trends, colour palettes and seasonal flower varieties.
You will have plenty of opportunities to photograph your designs.
You will learn how to create a bridal posy - romantic, loose, full of garden inspired flowers and with gorgeous trailing ribbon.
On trend with summer weddings our table designs will be natural, plentiful and full of British blooms.
The course is suitable for complete beginners or those starting out on their floristry journey but feel they could do with a refresher.

"I absolutely loved it. It was the perfect amount of hands-on education and learning. I would recommend to anyone interested and absolutely will be back!"
"Really thoroughly enjoyed it. Made to feel really comfortable as a beginner to floristry. Really well taught and demonstrated. Loved the 3 aspects to it as well I've come away knowing a lot more than I did this morning - would love to come back for another course someday soon. Thank you!."
Excellent instruction, has created so many ideas as well as challenges, certainly has made me question the way I was thinking of doing things, and excited to get things started now. Sarah was fun and entertaining in presentation and extremely informative, thanks!
