Jenna completed the Floristry Career course in September 2025 and since then her business has bloomed, with a sold out Mother's Day, weddings booked for the coming year and lots of funeral enquiries. We spoke to Jenna about her thoughts on the course.

"I did a lot of research into floristry courses available and Cambridge Flower School seemed like the perfect fit for me - the career course offered a wide variety of practical learning but also included the theory and business side that is so valuable when starting out.

From stepping into the school I loved it straight away! What’s not to love, it’s a beautiful setting and the people are so warm and friendly. I loved that the stations were actually large enough to work on, and that the class size wasn’t too big so that we all had time with the teachers and could all see the demonstrations etc. a special mention must go to the mid morning cakes too!

Since leaving the school I have opened my floristry business and it’s gone from strength to strength. I have been able to apply my knowledge from the course into my business and feel like I have a much better understanding of how the industry works etc than I would have done if I’d chosen another course. After the course I quickly had a website set up as well as social media etc. I started taking orders from friends and family but that has quickly grown which is amazing.

I would highly recommend the school! The career course has everything you need to start your own floristry business if you take the advice given, and keep practicing!!

Before becoming a florist I had a career in event management. I loved doing this but always wanted to be more on the creative side! Since having my 2 boys it wasn’t feasible for me to be working in London full time so floristry seemed like the perfect fit as I can work around my home life."
