Bloom & Sprout

Sarah started her floristry journey with the Beginners Taster Day in 2025 and then quickly signed up for the Floristry Career Course. Having completed all our courses including The Wedding Course, Wedding Decorator and Funeral Flowers and returning to the school to top up her skills regularly, she has created a well deserved floristry business that she loves!

Sarah realises the importance of being a florist able to deliver a full design service - as a simple hand-tied gift bouquet gratefully received can lead to a wedding booking tomorrow!

In Sarah's own words:

"Life has been pretty crazy since attending the school. I've set up my own business, attended wedding shows, provided flowers for styled shoots and become recommended florist for the Essex Wedding Centre.

Before becoming a florist I had spent around 35 years as a Horse Groom. I've had a few life changing things happen to me and if nothing else it's taught me to grab at what you can, anything is possible!!

For anyone thinking about a change in career, who would love to be a florist or even just for their own person interest/hobby, I would definitely recommend The Cambridge Flower School"
