or
Afternoon 1.00pm - 4.00pm

Level: Beginners

Get completely into the festive mood and create a stunning centrepiece for your Christmas dining table.  Combining glittering large head flowers, aromatic cinnamon bundles and winter foliage you will create a low table arrangement in a rustic wooden box.   With the option to add beautiful honey candles this truly is a magical design to adorn your table.

A real Christmas tradition here at the school and our last workshop before Christmas itself!

Learn how to ensure your arrangement keeps perfect for the festive season with lots of hints and tips.

DETAILS

The workshop includes all the flowers, foliage, wrapping, ribbons and containers that you need to complete the item(s).

You will also be provided with tools to use during the session.   If you wish to purchase tools, we have these available and can be purchased on the day.

We suggest you bring your camera to take photos as a reminder of what you have learnt during the day.

We would recommend wearing  comfortable shoes and clothing that you don't mind getting wet or dirty (as flowers involve a bit of both!)

This workshop is held at The Cambridge Flower School, The Old Grain Store, Ely Road, Chittering, Cambridge CB25 9PH

"Really thoroughly enjoyed it. Made to feel really comfortable as a beginner to floristry. Really well taught and demonstrated. Loved the 3 aspects to it as well I've come away knowing a lot more than I did this morning - would love to come back for another course someday soon. Thank you!."
— Sarah Parry | Floristry Taster Day
Loved this workshop. Really friendly and therapeutic to come to this class. I am a complete beginner but felt that didn't matter at all.
