Garden Vase Workshop

£125.00

Description

Saturday 23rd May 2026

10am - 12.30pm

Sounds so simple - a vase of flowers!  For anyone who has bought flowers and then tried to arrange them into an impressive vase design will know that it is not always that easy.  Which vase, how tall, how do I get them to stay where I put them; all questions that we regularly hear from the most ardent flower lover.

This Saturday morning workshop, will literally untangle your flower questions, look at the best ways to display your flowers and explain some simple rules about which flowers to buy at the supermarket, local market or even from your own garden (and hedgerow).  We look at working with colour and choosing the right vase for the flowers, that will always give you a fantastic display.

You will create a natural vase (foam free) arrangement using seasonal summer flowers and foliage.   We will load you up with tips on how to look after them and ensure they last as long as possible.   Of course, you get to take your flowers home, vase and all!

A vase/container is supplied and for you to keep.

This workshop is for complete beginners, so no previous experience of floristry or working with flowers is required.

"Really thoroughly enjoyed it. Made to feel really comfortable as a beginner to floristry. Really well taught and demonstrated. Loved the 3 aspects to it as well I've come away knowing a lot more than I did this morning - would love to come back for another course someday soon. Thank you!."

Loved this workshop. Really friendly and therapeutic to come to this class. I am a complete beginner but felt that didn't matter at all.
